Since I started this blog, I've toyed with the idea of reading the six books on the shortlist of the Arthur C. Clarke Award (which I never do). Well, now it's make-my-mind-up time, because the shortlist was announced yesterday... and I'm not sure whether to go ahead. On the one hand, I've never read all the books on an award shortlist before, and it might be fun; on the other hand, as things stand, I really don't need another six books adding to my reading list before the end of April. Then again, I don't necessarily have to read them all before the Award is announced. Decisions, decisions...
